Mark Kavanagh's superstar Whobegotyou has been ruled out of the Sydney autumn carnival with a hock injury.
Kavanagh said the injury was mild - a strained ligament - but he did not have the six weeks usually required to right this type of injury in an older horse, and so preferred to take his time with the horse and he'd be right for Spring Carnival.
Whobegotyou was due to run in the George Ryder Stakes (1500m) at Rosehill on April 2 and the Doncaster Handicap (1600m) at Randwick on April 16.
