Mark Webber has confirmed he and Red Bull teammate are free to race each other if the situation arises.
Webber ignored team orders at the Silverstone Grand Prix two weeks ago and was left fuming.
He said he had spoken to team boss Christian Horner straight after the race debrief and had both given their views on the situation.
Horner told him it would have been the same instructions for Vettel if it had been the other way around.
Mark said he had ignored the orders based on Horner's comments after the 2010 German Grand Prix when Ferrari issued team orders and he'd said he would not stop his own drivers from racing each other.
The German Grand Prix takes place this Sunday.
