Wallabies skipper James Horwill has been cleared of any serious injury to his shoulder after receiving the results of an MRI scan today.

The Aussie team have been going down like flies with one injury after another, and so could little afford to lose their captain.

They lost 15-6 to Ireland on Saturday night and will next face USA in Wellington this Friday.

High-impact winger Digby Ioane is out of the tournament with a broken thumb, and flanker David Pocock is still uncertain after he was left out of Saturday night's clash against Ireland with a stiff back.
