The Wallabies were faced with the enormity of the task ahead in the World Cup after their hammering at the hands of the mighty All Blacks in the Bledisloe Cup match on Saturday night.

The All Blacks made their 30-14 win look easy while NZ coach Graham Henry warned the Wallabies his team were still 'miles off' their best.   

Downhearted Wallabies coach Robbie Deans was left distinctly unimpressed at his side's reluctance to follow orders but he still believes his young side will make vast improvements, spurred on by the experience.
