Sebastian Vettel takes pole position for the third time running in tonight's Grand Prix in China but teammate Mark Webber failed to qualify.
Webber's car is still causing problems. The KERS power-boost system would not work and the team risked using hard tyres for his final run.
Webber will start in 18th position, while Vettel will attempt to win his third consecutive race which would put him alongside Michael Schumaker who was the last driver to win the first three races of a season back in 2004.
McLaren's Jenson Button was seven-tenths of a second behind Vettel, and starts second tonight, while teammate Lewis Hamilton will be third.
Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg will start fourth, Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa start fifth and sixth respectively.
