The US ice hockey team has shocked their Canadian neighbours by winning 5-3 and achieving their first Ice Hockey Olympic Games win in 50 years.

Ryan Miller stopped 42 shots and Brian Rafalski scored twice with forward Jamie Langenbrunner scoring the winning goal in the second period. The Americans last Olympic win over Canada was a 2-1 victory at the 1960 Squaw Valley Games.
