Titans player Luke Bailey will not be able to play in tomorrow night's NRL clash against the Wests Tigers after surgery on his thumb earlier this week.

Bailey and the team were hoping he would make it onto the pitch wearing a protective thumb guard but this was ruled out today.

The Titans need to win their last regular season match tomorrow at Skilled Park to get their home final.

Titans coach John Cartwright has confirmed Anthony Laffranchi will replace Bailey, while interchange utility Greg Bird will move into the backrow and O'Dwyer will take the bench.
