Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheen hopes the team's 38-18 win against North Queensland Cowboys last night will serve to revive and motivate them to make their way into the NRL finals.
The Tigers had lost their previous three matches before last night, and with injuries, transfer speculation and some bad luck added to the mix, team spirit had taken a knock.
The Tigers have now moved to seventh spot on the ladder, and with eight matches still remaining there is plenty of work to be done.
Captain Robbie Farah said their win last night would be worthless unless they could back it up with another when they play at home next Saturday against the Roosters.
