Wests Tigers back-rower Simon Dwyer escaped serious injury after knocking his head against Canterbury prop Michael Hodgson's hip during last night's game at Campbelltown.

He appeared to be concussed after the collison and it was feared he had suffered some nerve damage from a neck injury, but he was given the all clear by the hospital today and now awaits further scans to discover the extent of injury.
