Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi - more well known as the Nawab of Pataudi - has died in a New Delhi hospital aged 70.
The Indian cricketer and one-time captain of the Indian cricket team was nicknamed Tiger due to his outstanding catching and throwing in the outfield, despite losing his right eye in a car accident back in 1961.
Pataudi was admitted to hospital earlier this month with lung disease and had appeared to be recovering well when his condition deteriorated on Wednesday.
He was widely regarded as one of India's most charismatic and prolific batsmen.
