A beer-flicking incident involving Queensland Cowboy's star Johnathan Thurston and Willie Tonga has been deemed as a minor issue by NRL boss David Gallop and no further investigation is required.
Thurston was reported to have angered his team mate in the early hours of yesterday morning at a bar in Darwin.
The news was made out to be more than it was as Thurston had already been under review after being arrested for another incident involving alcohol at a Brisbane casino last year.
Gallop conceded that NRL players must behave in an appropriate manner in public.
