Former Australian Test cricketer Terry Jenner has died aged 66.

Jenner was best known as a spin bowling coach and mentor and was instrumental in Shane Warne's coaching.

Cricket Australia announced the news of Jenner's passing today and said they were very saddened. 

Jenner had battled a long illness.

 Former Test skipper Allan Border said his death would leave a huge hole in Australia's spin-bowling fraternity.
