It's been revealed that Bulldogs prop Ryan Tandy and his manager Sam Ayoub asked the club for a $60,000 cash advance last year a short time after the alleged betting scam they are involved in.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Tandy requested the money to pay off a number of debts, including to Harvey Norman and a car finance company.

The Bulldogs did not agree to the full amount, but did advance one month-worth $15,000 to Tandy, although they paid the Harvey Norman and finance debts directly.
