The real estate agent involved in the Cowboys betting sting was yesterday named as Greg Tait - a senior property manager at the Coogee/ Clovelly branch of Laing + Simmons.

Tait has taken a few weeks leave with immediate effect, and his profile has been taken down from the company website.

He was charged with two counts of attempting to obtain financial advantage by deception and will appear in court ion August 25.

It is understood that Tait first got to know Tandy when the player rented a property through him.
