Sydney FC will most likely not be heading out to Japan tomorrow night to play their Asian Champions League match against Kashima Antlers, in light of the terrible earthquake and tsunami.
Kashima is situated on the east coast. The Asian Football Confederation is understood to be monitoring the situation, with a decision expected tomorrow.
Former Sydney star Alex Brosque, who now plays for Shimizu S-Pulse, said he and his family felt the quake, while Socceroo Mark Milligan, who is playing for JEF United in Japan, had fled his apartment with his wife and young daughter.
