Super rugby teams will show their respect to victims of the Christchurch earthquake by wearing black and red armbands, and flying stadium flags at half mast during all games this weekend.
The Christchurch Crusaders' team colours are black and red. They have won seven out of 15 tournaments since the tournament began.
Super rugby organisers SANZAR said teams from New Zealand, Australia and South Africa would "stand as one" to show their support for Christchurch and New Zealand.
The Crusaders were scheduled to play the Wellington Hurricanes on Saturday, but the game has been cancelled and will be considered a draw.
