Casey Stoner will start today's German Grand Prix in pole position, after recording the fastest time in qualifying on Saturday.
Stoner currently leads this year's world championship on 136 points, riding for Honda.
His closest rival is Jorge Lorenzo for Yamaha, 28 points behind him.
It will be Stoner's sixth pole start this season, and he is aiming for his fifth win.
It was a great turnaround for the Aussie, after he was one of 4 riders to crash during Friday's wet and windy practice session.
