Manly Waringah Sea Eagles' fullback Brett Stewart looks set to shock fans with a return in Saturday night's trial match against NZ Warriors in Auckland.
The Daily Telegraph reports today that Manly officials believe he will pass a midweek fitness test and will play around 20 mins on Saturday night.
Stewart has only played six games in two seasons after sustaining two severe knee injuries.
