Tottenham Hotspur have lost miserably to Real Madrid 4-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions league quarter final yesterday.

Spurs now face a formidable task in the second leg at their home ground at White Hart Lane on April 13.

Striker Peter Crouch was sent off after just 15 minutes leaving 10 men to deal with the mighty Madrid. 

Spurs have not reached a European Cup semi-final since 1962.
