Tottenham Hotspur is considering challenging the Olympic Park Legacy Company's decision to award the Olympic Stadium in East London to West Ham.
The premier league club is desperate to move from its homegrounds in White Hart Lane and strongly believe the venue should have been awarded to them.
The legal fees involved in such a process would amount to around £1million and Spurs' lawyers have written to the OPLC, the Mayor of London and the government departments for sport and local government to demand answers about how the process worked.
Spurs will await a response and decide by the end of April whether to proceed with legal action.
