Rabbitohs player Dave Taylor may miss out
on his spot in the State of Origin III squad after being charged with a
grade two dangerous throw today.
The NRL match video review committee saw
his lifting tackle on Broncos' Scott Anderson during their rain-affected
match in Perth on Friday and decided to charge him.
Taylor could be suspended for 5 weeks if he is found guilty, or 4 weeks if he takes the early guilty plea.
Either way, he would not be available to play in the State of Origin final match.
It is not yet known if the Rabbitohs will contest the charge, but his manager said it was the only option.
