So You Think's owner Dato Tan Chin Nam has spoken about his decision to sell a controlling share in the racehorse to Coolmore Stud last year.

The racing community in Australia was shocked when their favourite went overseas shortly after the Melbourne Cup, but Dato Tan said the horse deserved his chance to see if he could be the best in the world.

So You Think has already amazed the northern hemisphere winning his first two starts, including the Group 1 Tattersall's Gold Cup. 

He is now an early favourite for one of Europe's most prestigious races, the $600,000 Prince Of Wales's Stakes (2000m, June 15), the most prestigious race at the famous Royal Ascot carnival which takes place next week.

Dato Tan said he had butterflies thinking about So You Think's Royal Ascot bid and no horse from Australia had won a race like it.
