Anthony Cummings-trained Smart Missile hit the mark during trackwork at Randwick this morning - so much so his performance left everyone in the trainers' hut speechless.

The unbeaten colt put in the sterling gallop ahead of Saturday's Golden Slipper, where he has drawn barrier 5.

Cummings said the horse was a wonderful athlete.
