The scandal-rocked Saints' spell of bad luck continues as Justin Koschitzke has suffered complications from his recent ankle surgery.
Koschitzke found himself back in hospital last night with an infected ankle and will miss the NAB Cup and could even be out of action for the first round of the AFL season.
He joins an ever-increasing list of injured players; captain Nick Riewoldt, Sam Gilbert and Michael Gardiner.
Three other players were suspended for taking sleeping tablets when the Saints visited New Zealand this year.
