Sydney Roosters coach Brian Smith was so unhappy with his team's performance against Manly Sea Eagles yesterday he called their efforts "diseased".
The Sea Eagles were missing key players Jason King, Jamie Lyon, Glenn Stewart and Steve Matai, yet beat the Roosters 27-16.
Coach Smith said the Roosters were outmuscled and outsmarted. He said the Sea Eagles always played the best way to get the job done and have " a good, hard professional attitude''.
