Melbourne Rebels players Danny Cipriani and Richard Kingi have been stood down from playing in Friday's game against Queensland after going for a night out in Sydney last weekend.

All Rebels players had agreed to abstain from going out late but the pair defied the club's directive and the decision was made to prohibit them from playing.
