A fourth man has been charged over the suspect betting activities, in the case which also involved former Bulldogs player Ryan Tandy.
The 38-year-old lives in Maroubra and is a real estate agent in the Eastern suburbs.
He is an acquaintance of Tandy, and has been charged with two counts of attempting to obtain financial advantage by deception.
It is alleged he also used a woman in New Zealand to place bets on his behalf. CCTV footage shows the woman entering a TAB in Auckland pushing a pram, and attempting to place a bet for $4,000, which was refused and a bet of $300 was accepted.
The woman has not been charged by police.
