The three Pakistani cricketers involved in the spot-fixing scandal all received bans on Saturday.
The International Cricket Council banned former Pakistan captain Salman Butt for 10 years, with five years suspended, bowler Mohammad Asif for seven years, with two suspended, and the young paceman Mohammad Aamer for five years.
The legendary cricket all-rounder Imran Khan said on Sunday he was very upset by the bans but that punishments were needed for the game to gain back its reputation in Pakistan.
