UEFA has begun a disciplinary inquiry
after a number of events during Wednesday's Champions League
semi-final tie between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho drew criticism from Barcelona for his outburst after the match when he claimed defender Pepe should not have been sent off in the 61st minute, and complained that Barcelona seemed to be favoured by the refs over his side.
This is now being officially looked into by the governing body along with the throwing of missiles by Real
Madrid fans at the Santiago Bernabeu, a pitch invasion and the red card
which was given to Pepe for a tackle on Dani Alves.
The hearing will take place on Friday next week, where Mourinho's dismissal will also be discussed and the red card given to Barcelona's reserve goalie - Jose Pinto after the half-time fracas on the touchline.
