New F1 Teams Are Mickey Mouse 6/03/2010 4:00:05 PM

As four new teams fight and struggle to get themselves ready in time to join the Formula One grid this year, Australia's Mark Webber has lashed out describing their efforts as 'Mickey Mouse'.

He said that the chaos of the new teams as they prepare for the start of the season was embarrassing and it reflected on the sport overall making the elite series look amateurish. He was incredulous that drivers who were yet to even drive their cars were going to take part in the Grand Prix series.

The four new F1 teams are Virgin, Lotus, Campos and USF1. The season begins in Bahrain in just 2 weeks and apparently the American owned team - USF1 - has already gone bust. Another has changed its name - Campos Meta 1 has a new owner and is now called Hispania Racing, while another potential team - Stefan GP - doesn't even have an official entry but has developed a car from Toyota and has announced drivers.
