Queensland coach Mal Meninga has attacked NSW rugby league powerbrokers in the Sunday Mail today, blasting them for trying to
"destroy a dynasty" by undermining the Maroons State of Origin team.
Meninga has been left outraged this season as "faceless men of influence" within the game decided six consecutive wins was detrimental to the game.
He said personal attacks to his coaching style and discrepancies in judiciary rulings throughout the series were part of a smear campaign against the Maroons.
Blues captain Paul Gallen also came under fire for not giving credit to the rival team.
Sydney's media took the brunt of Meninga's fury rather than individuals.
