Mark Webber has faith that the Grand Prix in Melbourne will restore confidence in its importance to Australia, particularly as it's taking the position of season-opener once more.

There have been questions around its value, especially from Melbourne's mayor, but the Melbourne race will put Australia firmly in mind with all racing fans eager to see the season commence.

The first race was planned for Bahrain, but has been cancelled due to political unrest there currently.
