Golfer Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland has won the US Open at the weekend and has become its youngest champion in 88 years.
The 22-year-old won the tournament in stunning style, as he lead from the beginning, and scored a record 16-under-par 268 over 72 holes.
British PM David Cameron announced his congratulations to the player saying he was an ''incredible talent who had already shown himself to be at the top of his sport''.
