Manchester United are through to the final eight of the Champions League as they thrashed opponents AC Milan 4-0 at Manchester's Old Trafford last night.

Beckham was back to where he began all those years ago, but on the other side of the fence this time, playing for the Italians. 

Man Utd's Wayne Rooney hit his 30th goal of the season, as he scored two goals, the first just thirteen minutes in, the second came a minute into the second half. 

Park Ji-Sung took a pass from Paul Scholes pass and sent a low finish across Abbiati and inside the far post.

Darren Fletcher scored Man Utd's fourth goal, three minutes from the end, when he headed a cross from Rafael beyond the post. 

Beckham was brought on for the last 25 minutes and received a standing ovation, but there was nothig he could do by this point, though he did strike a great volley which the goalie had to touch over the bar.
