Reports that English cricketer Matt Prior broke a window at Lord's in frustration at being run out yesterday appear to be exaggerated.

England coach Andy Flower witnessed the incident and explained that Prior had placed his bat on the ledge where the dressing room window met the wall, but the bat handle bounced off the all and smashed into the window, breaking it.

Apparently a piece of glass fell and cut a female spectator's ankle, but was not serious. 

England captain Andrew Strauss explained after the match it had been a complete accident and Prior had apologised immediately for it.
