Rookie Manly centre Kyle Lodge was taken to hospital this morning following a car accident in Dee Why on his way home from training.
The car he was travelling in was hit by a bus, after it apparently ran a red light.
Teammates Daly Cherry-Evans and Anthony Watmough were travelling in a car behind him and pulled him from the vehicle.
An ambulance spokesman said Lodge had suffered minor shoulder, chest and neck injuries.
He has been undergoing scans for concussion and a shoulder injury at the Royal North Shore Hospital.
Lodge had been under consideration to play against Melbourne on Saturday night.
