LA Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant has been fined $95,000 by the NBA after calling a referee a faggot at a game recently.
The anti-gay insult was caught on camera during the Lakers' 102-93 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
Bryant's comment went nuclear and the star issued a statement to the press explaining his actions had been out of frustration in the heat of the game and did not reflect his feelings towards the gay community.
The NBA said Kobe's comment was 'offensive and inexcusable.'
