Bulldogs player Jamal Idris says he's in primed and ready for the season ahead.
He has had a great off-season, lost weight, and most importantly of all - can finally see properly!
The 20-year-old struggled throughout last season as his long sight vision became so impaired he couldn't see his opponents' faces.
Wearing contact lenses didn't work out as they easily popped out during play, so Idris underwent laser surgery which has restored his sight to 20/20 vision.
Idris believes he will be a force to be reckoned with this season
Bulldogs coach Kevin Moore said he will decide whether Idris starts in the centre or back-row in round one during their upcoming trial games.
