Greg Inglis is said to be fired up for the Four Nations Rugby League Cup which commences October 28th Against New Zealand in England.
Inglis the 23 year old was not sure whether he would compete in the Four Nations after undergoing minor surgery to his right knee, an injury which he sustained in a South's match between the Bronco's in Rnd 25.
"Missing out last year was hard, I was all over the shop pre-season but I
finally found my straps," Inglis said on Thursday.
"There was a bit of doubt before I went to see the surgeon, but I went for a
gallop on Thursday which made me confident he'd give me the
nod."
Inglis feared
missing the Four Nations for a second year in succession with this injury, but wasn't willing to miss representing Australia in the Four nations. Inglis won't be fit to face the Kiwis this weekend, but he believes he
has plenty of time to get himself right for the encounter at the Halliwell Jones
Stadium.
"I'll strap the boots on when I get over there and I have have three weeks to
get right," he said
