Superstar centre Greg Inglis will be fit to play for the Rabbitohs in round one against the Sydney Roosters on March 11, chief exec Shane Richardson confirmed yesterday.
Inglis' own column on the ANZ Stadium website seemed to differ, the player saying he was not up to full training yet, while still recovering from hip surgery, but would be ready to play for round two against the Bulldogs.
It seems that Inglis only referred to their home game at ANZ Stadium as he is writing for its members as part of a third party sponsorship deal, and so the round one/ round two confusion arose.
Richardson said that all the player's medical reports indicated his performance was on track and he had been strong during training.
