Greg Inglis has admitted his form hasn't been up to scratch so far in his first two games for the Rabbitohs.
Inglis said that for the young Bulldogs player Jamal Idris to finish over him in Sunday's match against the Bulldogs showed him only too clearly he wasn't doing something right.
He missed out on two trial games for Souths while still recovering from off-season surgery on his hip and shoulder, but is not throwing any blame at that.
Inglis says he must simply work harder and is now looking forward to Friday's match against the Parramatta Eels.
