Mike Hussey is ready and waiting for a dream recall for the World Cup after being cleared of hamstring injury.
Last month selectors caused upset when they left Hussey off the team, fearing he would not have recovered from surgery in time.
But the veteran cricketer 's recovery went to plan and today he commences play for WA in their Sheffield Shield clash with Queensland.
Selectors are now deciding who should replace injured paceman Doug Bollinger at the World Cup and Hussey wants back in.
