Geoff Huegill's comeback continues after winning the 50m butterfly event at the NSW Swimming Championships at Sydney Olympic Park last night.

His time of 23.88 seconds was just .01 of a second ahead of Joseph Carty who had qualified fastest for the final.

Huegill said he was happy with his performance and believes he's on target for the Australian championships and world championships later this year.
