Lleyton Hewitt's fine tennis yesterday sadly wasn't enough to keep him in the Wimbledon tournament as he lost 6-7 (5-7) 3-6 7-5 6-4 6-4 to Robin Soderling of Sweden.
But Hewitt dismissed any talk of retirement, saying he would continue to compete for as long as his body allowed him.
He added he wouldn't have put himself through a foot operation in Mrach, and subsequent rehabilitation if he was intending to retire.
