Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton is branching out into the world of tv entertainment after signing up Simon Fuller as his new manager.

Fuller is the creative force behind hit tv shows American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance.

Hamilton said he had spent a great deal of time searching for the right management company, which would share his ambitions for the longer term, as well as enhance his career as a Grand Prix driver.
