Man Utd and England player Wayne Rooney has confirmed he's had a hair transplant.

The former-balding Rooney took to Twitter to post a picture of his new hair.

The procedure apparently set him back $46,000.

25-year-old Rooney was happy with the results, although he admitted it will take a few months to grow properly.

He quipped he would need advice on where to find some decent hair gel and signed off with the moniker 'hairwego'.
