Ex Townsville NBL mentor Trevor Gleeson has signed a three-year to coach the Melbourne Tigers.
Gleeson resigned as coach from Townsville Crocodiles just last week after deciding he needed to move back to Melbourne to support his wife who is battling breast cancer, and their children.
He contacted the Tigers, and everything moved very quickly from there he said.
He replaces stand-in coach Darryl
McDonald, who had replaced Al Westover after his sacking in February.
