FIFA presidential candidate Mohamed bin Hammam and FIFA vice-president Jack Warner have been suspended by the FIFA ethics committee while a full investigation is carried out into claims they offered cash gifts to national associations at the Trinidad conference in return for their votes in the presidential election.
FIFA president Sepp Blatter denied all knowledge of corruption and was cleared by the ethics committee.
Two members of the Carribbean Football Union Debbie Minguell and Jason Sylvester, were also suspended for their alleged involvement with bin Hammam and Warner.
The FIFA presidential election however, will still take place as planned on June 1.
