Former professional swimmer Ayrton Dickey has been charged in connection to a drug-haul of 11kg of ice worth $4.4 million.
The huge quantity of drugs was discovered by police yesterday inside two safes in a courier company's van.
The van's driver was completely unaware that his cargo contained the drugs.
Police raided a unit in Bondi where they discovered more ice, $8000 cash, a new model Bentley and a new model Mercedes 4WD.
Dickey's home in Vaucluse was also raided and police allegedly found $882,000 in cash and an Audi A4.
Convicted drug dealer Sahba Yazda and Dickey appeared at Waverley Local Court yesterday on charges including supplying commercial quantities of prohibited drugs.
The matter was adjourned to the Central Local Court next month.
