Parramatta Eels player Carl Webb has announced his retirement, just two days after their dismal loss to South Sydney on Monday.
Webb becomes the third player to retire from the club before the end of the season, joining other veteran players who were recently recruited but now retired - Chris Walker and Paul Whatuira.
The three players notched up a measly 12 appearances for the Eels between them.
The Eels have endured a tricky season and face the possibility of the wooden spoon for the first time in 39 years.
